Flexsol 

Truco supplies Flexsol, the most cost-effective solution for rubber conveyor belt repairs, including high- and low-impact belts, hose bends & molded parts. It is a liquid urethane elastomer that is easily applied, requires no tools, and dries quickly for maximum uptime.

Flexsol can be easily applied in 4 easy steps

  • Buff the damaged area with a polisher (wire brush or grinding disc) & clean with Flexsol cleaning solvent.
  • Apply the supplied primer to the area.
  • Add the catalyst to Flexsol & stir for a minute before applying the solution to the belt within 10 minutes of the primer application
  • Let it cure (cured within 45 min)

TruSplice

Prevent the need of having to replace your entire conveyor belt by installing Truco’s cost-effective and quick TruSplice solution.

This installation requires a trim to the damaged section of your conveyor belt and a replacement with TruSplice, a reinforced rubber insertion for the removed section of your conveyor belt.

How do you join the conveyor belt

Belt splicing for conveyor belt maintenance can make use of two methods to replace the removed damaged part of the conveyor belt: mechanical and vulcanised.

The mechanical method makes use of either hinged fasteners, solid plate segments or flexible matrix plate splicers. The vulcanised method makes use of temperature and pressure to connect the two ends of the existing conveyor belt to the replaced section and makes use of either hot or cold vulcanisation.

Truco’s belt splicing solution, TruSplice, will require the mechanical method for installation.

Does Truco offer TruSplice at its premises or on the customer’s site?

Truco delivers Fexol and TruSplice to its customers’ doors, enabling the client to conduct their own conveyor belt repairs, reducing costs and downtime. Customers can follow the easy step-by-step guide for both Flexsol and TruSplice. Free training is also available for TruSplice and is conducted on Truco’s premises or on the customer’s site.

Does the installation of TruSplice require many conveyor belt splicing tools?

How do I know which rubber belt repair solution to purchase?

Although Flexsol is the most cost-efficient conveyor belt repair solution, it should ideally be used for small to medium tears and holes where TruSplice has been recommended as the ideal solution for medium to large tears and repairs.
