Truco installs new conveyor cutting machine Transvaal Rubber Company (Truco) has installed a new conveyer belt slitting machine valued at over R300 000 to improve delivery times and reduce wastage. Developed and manufactured by Truco, the slitting machine relies on a sophisticated alignment mechanism to quickly and accurately cut conveyor belting. "Because we designed it, the machine provides us with precisely the functionality we require, at a fraction of the cost of an imported machine," says Conveyor Belt Sales Manager, Jason Owen. "It has been installed not only as a result of the large increase in demand we have experienced over the past six months, but also as an indication of our intent in terms of further growing our export drive in the coming year."
