Truco launches PVC hose range

The third hose in the PVC range, Truco Trubraid, is a clear, braided PVC hose that can be used in industrial air and water applications. It can handle working pressure of up to 900 kpa and internal diameters range from 6 mm to 50 mm and lengths of up to 120 meters.

The layflat delivery hose, Truflat, suits pumping applications found in agriculture, irrigation and sewage etc. The hose can operate at pressures up to 5.6 bar, it is flexible and durable, with inner diameters ranging from 38mm - 150mm and is available in 100 metre rolls.

Truco has also added Truclear thick and thin walled PVC tubing to the range. Truclear is utilised in water pumping applications and is available in various inner diameters ranging from 6mm to 20mm and has a working pressure of up to 200 kpa depending on the wall thickness.

The PVC range is rounded off with the composite hose, a range of hose suitable to the petrochemical industry and is made of composite materials such as polypropylene and polyvinylchloride. The composite hose specifically handles liquids such as petrol, oil and sulphuric acid and are thus ideal for the off-loading of these products from road and rail tankers. The range of composite hose can also be used in plant installations. They are durable, flexible and a range of end fittings can be crimped-in on both ends of the hose. Composite hoses can be manufactured to handle working pressures of up to 2 500 kpa with a safety factor of 4:1. The hoses are available in standard diameters from 32 mm to 150 mm and lengths of up to 12 m.
